The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining inventory levels to support both trading and manufacturing operations. The role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with production, stores, sales, and accounts departments regarding procurement requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Verify purchased materials against specifications and quality standards.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, damaged goods, or quality concerns.




- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and current suppliers.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare periodic procurement and purchase reports for management.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation of purchased goods when required.
- Support audits by providing accurate procurement documentation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skill in English
