Job Summary
The Ansible L3 Engineer is a senior automation specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Ansible-based automation frameworks to manage large-scale infrastructure, improve reliability, and enable CI/CD-driven operations across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and collections.
• Architect end-to-end automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and application deployments.
• Lead L3-level incident resolution and root cause analysis related to automation and infrastructure failures.
• Integrate Ansible with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
• Automate cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Linux/Windows).
• Develop reusable automation standards, best practices, and governance models.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, security, and SRE teams to enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC).




• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers.
• Ensure automation solutions comply with security, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles for automated systems.

Skill Requirements
5+ years of infrastructure automation or DevOps experience with robust Ansible expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of YAML, Jinja2, Linux administration, and system architecture.
• Experience with Ansible Tower / AWX.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and release management.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and enterprise infrastructure concepts.

Other Requirements
Senior-level automation expert responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Ansible playbooks, roles, and CI/CD integrations to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments at scale across hybrid/cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (ITIL, SOC, ISO, ITAR).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Red Hat Ansible certifications.
• Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes, or container automation frameworks.
