Job Summary
Job Description – SAP IS-Oil Consultant (S/4HANA)

Role Summary
The SAP IS-Oil Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, rollout, and support of SAP IS-Oil solutions on SAP S/4HANA. The role requires robust functional expertise in oil and gas industry processes, integration with SAP Finance and Logistics, and experience working in large-scale transformation or RISE with SAP programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct business requirement analysis and fit-gap workshops
• Configure and support SAP IS-Oil modules including TSW, PRA, JVA, HPM/TDP as applicable
• Manage hydrocarbon accounting, allocation cycles, and revenue postings
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP FI, MM, SD, and PP modules
• Support S/4HANA ECC to IS-Oil data migration and reconciliation
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors





Skill Requirements
Core SAP IS-Oil Skills (Must-Have)
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-Oil modules (PRA, JVA)
• Deep knowledge of upstream and midstream oil & gas processes
• Experience in ownership, equity, and partner accounting
• Integration expertise with SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, Revenue Accounting)
• Understanding of ticketing, measurements, and allocation processes
• Experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects

Good-to-Have Skills
• SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure
• Experience with regulatory reporting in oil & gas industry
• Knowledge of SAP BTP integration concepts
• Exposure to SAP BIO / SAP ED for compliance and monitoring
• Global rollout and multi-country implementation exposure

Soft Skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and in global delivery teams
• Strong documentation and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
• SAP IS-Oil certification is an advantage
• Experience in RISE with SAP or large transformation programs
• Prior experience in Oil & Gas industry projects
