Job Summary
Core Responsibilities & Primary Skills
Azure AKS Expertise– Hands-on management of large-scale microservices on AKS, including cluster autoscaling and HPA using custom metrics.
Hybrid Deployments– Proven experience operating workloads across Azure Cloud and on‑prem environments, addressing connectivity and synchronization challenges.
CI/CD & Automation– Strong expertise in building reusable, enterprise-grade GitHub Actions workflows using Helm and Docker.
Scripting Mastery– Advanced Shell and Groovy scripting for maintaining critical automation, branching strategies, and complex release tagging logic.
Secrets & Configuration Management– Secure secret injection using Azure Key Vault and consistent environment-specific configuration management.
Observability & SRE Tooling– Deep proficiency in Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring, distributed tracing, incident triage, and production debugging.
Service Mesh– Hands-on experience with Linkerd, including mTLS, traffic splitting, and inter-service reliability.
GitOps Strategy– Ability to design and drive a transition from push-based CI/CD to pull-based GitOps using Flux or Argo CD.
Release Orchestration– Practical experience with blue/green and canary deployments to safely support platforms with 1M+ users.
Cross-Functional Leadership– Acts as the primary coordination bridge across Dev, QA, Tech Leads, and Support teams.
Documentation-First Mindset– Converts implicit or “hidden” automation into clear, shared documentation and knowledge repositories.
Hands-On Execution– Strong doer mindset; actively writes pipeline YAML, manages Helm chart versioning, merges changes, and prepares releases end to end.
Good-to-Have / Secondary Skills
Container Security– Familiarity with Prisma Cloud or Aqua Security for scanning 80+ container images in CI/CD pipelines.
