Who we are?
Digital Edge & Cyber Security is responsible for ensuring the continued safety and security of the Bank’s Digital footprint. This is achieved through core activities in Cyber Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, DDoS protections, and delivering change projects into the organisation. The department maintains plan, build, and operate aspects of Digital Cyber Security.

What Will I focus on as a Digital Cyber Security Engineer?
You will be part of the cross discipline Digital Edge & Cyber Security Team and work with other cyber professionals across Digital Cyber Security and the wider organisation, contributing to the success of the team across multiple aspects.
The Digital Edge & Cyber Security team within Digital Frameworks deliver and maintain security solutions for our Enterprise and Digital Channels. Examples of what we focus on include, but not limited to; DDoS, Vulnerability management and threat intelligence, certification, ensuring layer 6 & 7 defences are one step ahead of cyber criminals.
We’re involved in all the incidents and threats to Lloyds cyber security to understand how we can mitigate future attacks. Looking to the future there will be a focus on Automation & Terraform!




You’ll also help develop and deliver cyber security solutions for the Group including critical Work with our target cloud platforms to deliver our future security software and configurations using Akamai, GCP and Azure cloud native products.

What do we need to see from you?
We like people who come from diverse backgrounds and bring current ways of thinking to the team. To be seriously considered and shortlisted we do need to see the follow as a minimum:
A prior background within cyber security and a passion to continuously understand and learn the latest in cyber defences. We would like to hear how we could use this knowledge to protect our customers & colleagues.
Good knowledge of DDoS, Bot and DNS protection.
Solid understanding of how cyber defence is applied through the networking layers (routing/switching, IP, network protocols, firewalls, WAF)
The ability to take ownership and deal with issues directly, identifying solutions to minimize blocking issues.
Experience engaging and support key internal relationships
There are also some qualities we desire on top of the minimum criteria above, so if you have any of these things please let us know in your CV: Automation experience & associated coding skills in Python or similar, any knowledge of Cloud technologies, encryption & virtualisation/containerisation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead operational excellence initiatives by managing and optimizing PAM solutions using BeyondTrust, Avecto, and Thycotic Privilege Manager to ensure secure access and compliance with organizational policies.
2. Oversee Active Directory administration, including advanced privilege assignment, auditing, and troubleshooting,



ensuring robust identity and access management across the enterprise.
3. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing PAM operations data, implementing process enhancements, and adopting automation tools to streamline privileged access workflows.
4. Mentor and guide the support team in advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution involving BeyondTrust Password Safe and related PAM technologies, ensuring prompt and effective issue management.
5. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex PAM and Active Directory operations issues, providing expert solutions that align with client requirements and organizational security standards.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize reporting and monitoring systems for privileged account activities, supporting audit and compliance initiatives.
7. Champion innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and best practices into the PAM operations framework to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.

Skill Requirements
1. Excellent Knowledge Of Thycotic Privilege Manager For Managing Privileged Access And Enforcing Security Policies.
2. ExpertLevel Skills In Active Directory Administration, Including Privilege Delegation, Auditing, And Advanced Troubleshooting.
3. Advanced Proficiency In Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, And Process Improvement Within Pam Environments.
4. Excellent Ability To Analyze Complex Operational Data And Implement Automation For Privileged Access Management.
5. Strong Communication And Mentoring Skills To Empower Technical Teams And Drive Operational Excellence.

Other Requirements
1. Recommended certifications: BeyondTrust Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Thycotic Privilege Manager Certification (optional but valuable)
