Position: Senior Accountant Department: Finance & AccountingLocation: Mohali (Work from Office)Employment Type: Full-TimeShift Timing: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM ISTAbout the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience working with international clients, preferably US-based.Key ResponsibilitiesManage general ledger accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure accuracy of financial records and maintain supporting documentation.Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts,



and financial analysis reports.Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support client accounting requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/CMA/CPA preferred).3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably handling US accounting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or other ERP/accounting software.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.Preferred SkillsExperience with US bookkeeping and financial reporting.Knowledge of month-end close and audit support.Familiarity with AP, AR, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.Experience working in a client-facing setting is an advantage.
