Roles & Responsibilities:Lead and manage all University application systems including ERP, LMS, Intranet, Online Admissions, Examination Systems, and other academic and administrative applications.Plan, implement, monitor, and support application lifecycle management including requirement gathering, development/customization, testing, deployment, upgrades, and maintenance.Act as the primary interface between functional process owners, internal IT teams, and external vendors for application-related initiatives.Oversee application support operations, including ticketing systems, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and SLA compliance.Ensure effective User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new implementations, enhancements, patches, and upgrades prior to production rollout.Review and approve functional requirement documents, change requests, and system design proposals for accuracy and alignment with institutional needs.Ensure data consistency, integrity, security, and availability across all application modules and integrated systems.Develop, review, and enforce SOPs, process documentation, user manuals, and training materials for application usage and support.Coordinate application access management, role-based permissions, periodic user audits, and compliance with information security policies.Monitor application performance, system utilization, and user adoption, and recommend improvements or optimizations.Manage vendor relationships, contracts, AMC,



and SLA for application platforms and service providers.Support digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, system integration, and adoption of new technologies.Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and status updates on application performance, projects, incidents, enhancements, and risks for ITKM leadership and University management.Collaborate closely with IT Infrastructure, Information Security, and Knowledge Management teams to ensure seamless and secure application operations.Mentor and supervise application support teams, ensuring skill development, performance management, and service quality.Ensure compliance with University policies, regulatory requirements, audit observations, and best practices in application management.Qualification:●B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.●Relevant certifications in ERP, project management, or application platforms will be an added advantage.Experience & Skills Required:Minimum 18 years of progressive experience in enterprise application management, preferably in higher education or large organizations.Solid experience in ERP, LMS, and large-scale institutional applications.Proven ability to manage multi-vendor environments and complex application ecosystems.Excellent understanding of SDLC, IT service management, and change management processes.Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Ability to work in a dynamic academic environment with diverse user groups.
