Role Description The Academic Counselor is a full-time, in office position based in Thiruvananthapuram. The role involves guiding prospective and current learners in selecting suitable courses, explaining program details, and clarifying academic and career pathways in digital marketing and generative AI. The Academic Counselor will conduct student counseling sessions, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups. Daily responsibilities include supporting learners academic planning, monitoring progress, coordinating with faculty and administration,



and helping students access career support services. The role also includes organizing information sessions, contributing to outreach activities, and providing ongoing encouragement to help learners achieve their educational and professional goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners in making informed academic and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly and empathetically with students, parents, and team members.
- Candidates should possess Academic Advising and Education-related skills to guide learners through course selection, academic planning, and program requirements.
- Relevant experience in counseling or education services, preferably in digital marketing, technology, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications in counseling are an advantage.
- Ability to build rapport, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively in an academic environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer applications and student management systems.
