About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join our development team for a leading retail client. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining an existing mobile commerce application, ensuring seamless user experiences across both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires hands-on expertise in mobile app development with a strong focus on retail/ecommerce functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

Application Enhancement & Maintenance

- Develop recent features and enhance existing functionalities in the mobile app
- Perform regular maintenance, bug fixes, and performance optimizations
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices

Cross-Platform Development

- Build and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms
- Ensure consistent UI/UX across different devices and screen sizes
- Handle platform-specific implementations when required

API Integration & Backend Connectivity

- Integrate mobile app with backend RESTful APIs
- Handle data synchronization, caching, and offline functionality
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams
- Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Must-Have Requirement

Technical Skills





- Minimum 4 yeras to 6 years of hands-on experience in React Native development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Experience with React Native CLI and Expo framework
- Solid understanding of React.js React native fundamentals and hooks
- Experience with iOS and Android app deployment processes
- Proficiency in RESTful API integration and handling HTTP requests
- Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Context API)
- Experience with mobile app debugging and performance optimization.

Mobile Commerce Experience

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing mcommerce/ecommerce mobile applications
- Understanding of payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
- Experience with shopping cart functionalities and checkout processes
- Knowledge of product catalog management and search/filter implementations

Platform & Tools

- Experience with Visual Code, Xcode and Android Studio
- Knowledge of App Store and Google Play Store submission processes
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong debugging skills using Flipper, Reactotron, or similar tools
- Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools (Flipper, Chrome DevTools, or equivalent)

General Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in offshore delivery models
