Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power BI Dataflows, Data Modelling, Power Query (M), DAX, and ETL/Data Transformation techniques. Experience in handling large datasets, implementing reusable semantic models, and delivering high-performance dashboards is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Build enterprise-grade Power BI solutions using best practices.
- Create visually compelling dashboards with excellent user experience.
- Develop reusable datasets and semantic models.

Dataflows (Strong Expertise Required)

- Design and develop Power BI Dataflows for reusable ETL processes.
- Create incremental refresh strategies using Dataflows.
- Implement linked and computed Dataflows.
- Optimize Dataflow performance.
- Schedule and monitor Dataflow refreshes.
- Implement Dataflow governance and workspace management.




- Troubleshoot Dataflow refresh failures.
- Develop scalable Dataflow architecture.

Data Modelling

- Design star and snowflake schema models.
- Create optimized fact and dimension tables.
- Implement relationships and cardinality.
- Optimize model size and performance.
- Apply normalization/denormalization where appropriate.
- Build enterprise semantic models.

Power Query (M Language)

- Develop complex Power Query transformations.
- Cleanse and transform large datasets.
- Merge and append multiple data sources.
- Handle errors and exceptions.
- Develop reusable Power Query functions.
- Optimize query folding.

DAX Development

- Create complex DAX measures.
- Develop calculated tables and calculated columns.
- Implement Time Intelligence.
- Optimize DAX performance.
- Develop KPI calculations.
- Create dynamic measures.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS).

Data Integration

- Connect to multiple data sources including:
- Azure SQL
- Excel
- SharePoint
- CSV

- Perform complex data transformations.

Performance Optimization

- Optimize report rendering time.
