About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive RTK & Network Systems Engineer to manage RTK/GNSS infrastructure, wireless communication networks, and telemetry systems supporting live drone operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate positioning, reliable connectivity, and seamless communication between drones and ground control systems during mission-critical operations.

This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform under dynamic field conditions. The position involves frequent travel to project sites across India and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, deploy, and maintain RTK base stations, GNSS receivers, and correction services.
- Set up and manage NTRIP services and RTK correction networks to ensure centimeter-level positioning accuracy.
- Design, deploy, and monitor wireless communication networks supporting drone operations.
- Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP networks, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, switches, routers, and related networking equipment.
- Monitor telemetry links and ensure reliable, low-latency communication between drones and ground control systems.
- Conduct RF planning, site surveys, interference analysis, and network performance assessments before live deployments.
- Diagnose and resolve RTK, GNSS, RF, networking, and telemetry issues during field operations.
- Collaborate with Flight Operations, Software, Hardware, and Production teams to optimize system performance.
- Support pre-flight system validation, live event operations, and post-event technical analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures,



and network configurations.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to communication infrastructure, positioning accuracy, and operational reliability.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with RTK/GNSS technologies and correction services.
- Strong understanding of NTRIP, RTCM protocols, and GNSS positioning concepts.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VLANs, routers, and switches.
- Experience troubleshooting wireless communication and telemetry systems.
- Understanding of RF fundamentals, signal propagation, and interference mitigation.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience using networking and diagnostic tools for performance monitoring.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of UAV systems and drone communication architecture.
- Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, QGroundControl, Mission Planner, or similar Ground Control Software.
- Familiarity with telemetry radios, mesh networking, or long-range wireless communication systems.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python or Bash) for automation is an advantage.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in RTK/GNSS systems, networking, wireless communication, UAV operations, or related fields.
- Experience supporting field deployments or mission-critical operations is preferred.
