Job Description

Security Monitoring Manager (IT/OT Security)

Location: Tambaram, Chennai — Hybrid (3 days WFO, 2 days WFH)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Monitoring Manager to lead security monitoring and cybersecurity operations across enterprise IT and industrial OT environments — owning detection, alert triage, and monitoring process maturity while supporting incident response and vulnerability remediation.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across IT and OT environments
- Review and investigate security alerts from SIEM and OT security monitoring platforms




- Lead incident response activities including containment, root cause analysis, and remediation
- Manage security event correlation, log analysis, and continuous monitoring
- Oversee incident documentation, ticket management, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT, OT, and business teams to improve security posture
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies
- Develop and enhance security monitoring processes, playbooks, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity policies and industry standards

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Networks, Servers, Endpoints)
- IT & OT Security Operations experience
- Security Monitoring & Incident Response
- SIEM Operations
- Risk Assessment & Threat Analysis

Mandatory Tools

- Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM)
- ServiceNow (Incident & ticket management)
- OTORIO (or equivalent OT security monitoring platform)

Preferred Certifications

- ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity — OT monitoring context
- GIAC GCIA / GCDA or Microsoft SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst) — SOC/detection-specific credential
- CISSP / CISM — bonus, not essential

Experience

- 5+ years in IT Infrastructure Management
- 3–5 years in IT/OT Security Management
