About The Role

The Senior Full Stack Engineer at BigStep Technologies will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our core web applications and backend services. This position requires a highly experienced skilled capable of leading complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and innovating with new technologies. You will be responsible for building scalable APIs, microservices, and engaging front-end interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences. Qualifications

- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on backend systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or similar.
- Experience with Golang is a plus but not mandatory.
- Solid hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or equivalent technologies.
- Strong skills in React.js for developing modern, responsive web interfaces.
- Familiarity with AI editing tools or AI-driven development workflows is preferred.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js, ensuring scalability and security.
- Build high-performance APIs and microservices that support the application's needs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases to model data, optimize queries,



and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and implement responsive frontend applications utilizing React.js for a seamless user experience.
- Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas to improve system performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and documentation to uphold development standards.
