About the Company:

Jolt is an iOS app that helps people take back control of their screen time. Video is how people find us, understand us and download us—from Reels and Shorts to performance ads and product films.

You will own the editing output across formats, taking projects from creative direction to final delivery without execution-level supervision. You will also guide our Junior Editor / Mixed Media Artist and keep the post-production workflow organised, reliable and fast.

What You'll Do:

- Edit short-form content, performance ads, UGC, product videos, YouTube content and campaign films.
- Own the full edit: footage selection, pacing, captions, typography, sound design, motion, colour correction, revisions and exports.
- Translate broad creative direction and references into polished work without needing step-by-step instructions.
- Work confidently across Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Use AI tools, stock, screen recordings, motion graphics and other formats when they improve the output.
- Own project setup, folder structures, file naming, version control, feedback tracking, backups and final delivery.
- Create reusable templates, presets and export workflows that improve speed and consistency.
- Delegate selects, rough cuts, subtitles, resizing, versioning and asset preparation to the Junior Editor.
- Review junior work, give clear feedback and take final responsibility for the quality of the editing output.
- Work at volume and switch gears quickly.



Some weeks may involve ten short-form edits; others may involve one film that has to be right.

What We're Looking For:

- 3–5 years of professional video-editing or post-production experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Solid working proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- DaVinci Resolve knowledge is preferred, particularly for colour correction and grading.
- Strong understanding of codecs, proxies, frame rates, aspect ratios, media relinking and export specifications.
- Excellent file management and post-production workflow discipline.
- Experience delegating, reviewing or supervising another editor's work.
- The ability to deliver clean, organised first cuts without constant oversight.
- Good creative taste across pacing, shot selection, captions, typography, music, sound and motion.
- Range: a hook-driven Reel and a calm product film should not feel like the same edit.
- A portfolio containing work you personally edited.
