Company Description Alliance World Manufacturing Limited (AWML), the FMCG division of Alliance Group, is a leading manufacturer of customized personal care products for major multinational brands. Recognized as the largest third-party manufacturer for bathing soaps in India, AWML operates with advanced quality systems, automated processes, and robust GMP standards.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Planning Control role based in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh .

Role combined production scheduling with inventory and supply chain optimization to guarantee uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

- Create and update Master Production Schedules (MPS) based on sales orders and demand forecasts.
- Balance floor capacity against production demand to identify and resolve resource bottlenecks.
- Sequentially schedule daily operations and assign shifts to maximize machinery utilization.
- Monitor shop floor execution daily to ensure strict adherence to scheduled timelines.

2. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & Inventory Control

- Run and maintain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) sheets to calculate order quantities and timing.
- Set safety stock thresholds, reorder points, and economic order quantities (EOQ) to eliminate shortages.
- Manage raw materials, component parts, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) stock valuations.
- Execute regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.

3. Procurement Coordination & Supply Chain Resiliency





- Coordinate directly with vendors for purchasing Raw Material and Packing Material with approved vendors by customers.
- Review vendor delivery lead times and adjust planning metrics to offset supply chain volatility.
- Evaluate supplier capacity limits to identify risk areas before they interrupt factory operations.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Quality, and Engineering teams to manage order priorities and ensure material availbility.
- Track and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Schedule Adherence, OEE, and Inventory Turnover.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules.
- Candidates should possess solid Planning and Analytical Skills for demand forecasting and capacity optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and leadership teams.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with manufacturing operations, GMP or similar quality standards, and basic inventory management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets, planning tools, and production or ERP systems; experience in FMCG or soap/personal care manufacturing is an advantage.
- Candidates from Baddi and around will be given preference
- Candidates from same industry (TOILET SOAP MANUFACTURING) will be given preference.
