Role Description This is a full-time, in office Service Technician role based in Guwahati. The Service Technician will install, commission, and maintain coffee and beverage vending machines at client locations, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime. Daily responsibilities include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, replacing parts, and calibrating machines for optimal performance and beverage quality. The role involves responding to service calls, documenting work performed, maintaining tools and spare parts inventory,



and following safety and quality standards. The Service Technician will interact with customers on-site, provide basic machine usage guidance, and coordinate with the local service team and supervisors to meet service-level commitments.

Qualifications

- Technical aptitude in electromechanical or electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vending or similar equipment.
- Basic knowledge of tools, spare parts handling, and routine preventive maintenance practices for machines or appliances.
- Customer service orientation, with clear communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients at diverse locations.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple service visits per day, and maintain accurate service records.
- Relevant vocational training, ITI, diploma, or similar qualification in mechanical, electrical, or electronics discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience as a field technician, service engineer, or maintenance technician in vending machines, appliances, or related equipment is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally within Guwahati and nearby areas, and to work flexible hours as required for service schedules.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene, and quality standards, with attention to detail and reliability in meeting service deadlines.
