About the Opportunity

A global organisation is seeking an experienced Intelligent Automation Manager to lead the strategic application of AI and automation across key business processes and value streams.

This is a strategic technology leadership role combining business transformation, intelligent automation, product management, and value realisation. The successful candidate will translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions, identify opportunities for AI and automation, and work with global stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cost, experience, revenue, and compliance.

The role operates within a highly matrixed global environment and requires strong commercial awareness, technology expertise, and the ability to lead through influence.

Key Responsibilities

Intelligent Automation Strategy

- Own and evolve the integrated intelligent automation strategy across designated value streams and process areas.
- Shape the strategic application of AI and automation with a strong focus on measurable business value.
- Align automation initiatives with technology architecture and data and analytics strategies.
- Communicate strategic priorities and progress to senior leadership and global process owners.

Business Prospect & Use-Case Identification

- Identify opportunities for AI and automation across business processes and regions.
- Identify common themes and reusable use cases across functions and geographies.
- Assess the impact of automation initiatives on revenue, cost, productivity, employee and customer experience, and compliance.
- Translate business challenges into practical technology solutions.

Value Realisation

- Define and track KPIs to measure the value delivered by strategic automation initiatives.
- Monitor benefits and performance on an ongoing basis.
- Partner with process owners, technology teams, and finance stakeholders to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate and increase value from existing automation investments.

Automation Portfolio & Investment Management





- Manage operational and investment budgets across assigned value streams.
- Prioritise resources between operational support, enhancements, and new automation initiatives.
- Partner with engineering, platform, and process excellence teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure successful transition of automation solutions into ongoing support with minimal operational issues.

AI & Automation Solution Development

- Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions across business and technology processes.
- Apply RPA, intelligent automation, generative AI, and other emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
- Promote scalable, reusable solutions and minimise duplication across the automation portfolio.
- Explore capabilities including AI-powered text extraction, sentiment analysis, agentic AI, chatbots, and intelligent workflow automation.

Enterprise Collaboration & Capability Building

- Contribute to an enterprise-wide intelligent automation community of practice.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and emerging technology developments across global teams.
- Identify opportunities for cross-regional and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support alignment between automation initiatives and broader enterprise objectives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree is preferred.
- 12+ years of relevant experience supporting automation technology deployments, including process mapping, feasibility analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- 4+ years of product management experience.
- Strong experience managing technology priorities and balancing operational support with enhancement and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing RPA, Microsoft Power Platform,



and AI solutions.
- Experience with one or more automation platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, or Copilot Studio.
- Experience applying Generative AI and other AI capabilities to automation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of process intelligence capabilities such as process mining, task mining, and business process management is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience within supply chain environments.
- Experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and digital transformation programmes.
- Experience managing complex technology portfolios and investment budgets.
