Job Description – Full Stack Developer (Node.js / PHP)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience who possesses excellent expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js. The candidate should have working knowledge of PHP, as the role primarily focuses on up-to-date JavaScript-based application development with occasional PHP maintenance and enhancements.

The ideal candidate should have end-to-end product development experience, including architecture, backend development, frontend development, testing, deployment, and production support of scalable SaaS applications.

This is a coding-intensive role requiring someone who actively contributes to development and can take ownership of production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend applications using PHP & Node.js.

Develop responsive frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

Work on existing PHP modules and develop new PHP features whenever required.

Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases.

Implement and optimize search functionality using Elasticsearch.

Integrate Redis caching for improved application performance.

Handle the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to production deployment.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.

Required Skills (Must Have)

- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong hands-on experience in PHP.




- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js.
- Strong hands-on experience in React.js.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, event loop, and REST APIs.
- Strong experience building scalable backend applications.

Backend & Database

- Strong SQL knowledge (complex queries, joins, indexing, optimization).
- Experience with Redis.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar).
- Strong API development experience.
- Working knowledge of PHP is required.
- Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar PHP frameworks will be an added advantage.

The role is primarily focused on JavaScript/Node.js development; PHP knowledge is required mainly for maintaining and enhancing existing modules.

Development Practices

- Git version control.
- Production deployment experience.
