Position – Head-Logistics Dispatch Manager

Location – Dhule, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end logistics, dispatch, and warehouse operations, ensuring timely dispatch of finished fertilizer products in line with production and sales plans while optimizing vehicle turnaround time and distribution efficiency.
- Manage finished goods warehouses, inventory accuracy, ERP transactions, stock reconciliation, physical verification, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure seamless material flow and inventory control.
- Oversee transportation management by optimizing freight costs, managing transporter performance, ensuring vehicle availability, route planning, statutory compliance, and resolving logistics bottlenecks.
- Supervise dispatch operations including truck and railway wagon loading (where applicable), weighbridge operations, dispatch documentation, and accurate delivery of product quantity, grade, and destination.
- Drive logistics cost optimization, warehouse productivity, vehicle utilization, detention reduction, process automation, MIS reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead warehouse, dispatch, logistics, weighbridge,



and contract manpower teams while ensuring EHS compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, supporting customer service excellence, and coordinating effectively with production, sales, procurement, and external logistics partners.

Desired Candidate

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) is preferred. MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- 15–20 years of experience in manufacturing logistics, warehousing, dispatch, and supply chain operations, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in fertilizer, chemical, cement, mining, bulk materials, process manufacturing, or similar industries is preferred. Exposure to seasonal dispatch planning and high-volume logistics operations is highly desirable.
- Robust expertise in plant logistics, warehouse management, inventory control, transportation management, rail and road logistics, freight optimization, weighbridge operations, ERP/SAP systems, supply chain planning, contract management, statutory compliance, and logistics analytics.
