- As a Performance Test Engineer at Techblocks, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests using industry-standard tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter, with a focus on GCP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios to assess the performance and scalability of our applications.
- Utilize LoadRunner and JMeter to simulate real-world user interactions and analyze system behavior under load.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other performance-related issues and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Monitor system resources during performance tests and analyze results to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop performance test scripts and scenarios, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
- Automate performance test execution and integrate them into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.




- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing.
- Provide performance-related metrics and reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for optimization.
- Participate in performance tuning activities and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with other quality assurance team members to enhance overall testing processes.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in performance testing, with proficiency in LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for performance testing engineers.
- Solid knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with load, stress, and endurance testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
- Relevant certifications in performance testing or related areas are a plus.
