Barclays is hiring for the role of Data Solutions Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable Business Intelligence (BI) tools, interactive dashboards, and executive reporting solutions using Tableau and Power BI.

- Perform SQL data querying, data modeling, exploratory data analysis, and data preparation across enterprise platforms (AWS, Teradata, Snowflake).

- Gather and analyze complex business requirements to translate them into actionable KPI dashboards, metrics, and visual data stories.

- Develop, test, and optimize complex forecasting models and simulations to identify causal links between customer behaviors, payment journeys, and business performance.

- Build automated reporting workflows using ETL tools (e.g., Tableau Prep, Alteryx) to streamline data ingestion and preparation.

- Establish robust data governance, validation, reconciliation, quality assurance, and row-level security (RLS) controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.





- Mentor junior analysts/developers, lead BI initiatives, and foster best practices in data visualization and self-service analytics across cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, Data Modeling, DAX, Advanced Tableau, Power BI, and ETL automation tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx).

- Experience with cloud and enterprise data platforms such as AWS, Teradata, or Snowflake.

- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of digital banking, transaction data, payment journeys, and customer lifecycle behavior is preferred.

- Excellent stakeholder management, mentorship, problem-solving, and communication skills with robust attention to detail.
