Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Job DescriptionThe roleThe primary purpose of this role is to format and amend Word documents in line with specific instructions. The Document Production Specialist (DPS) is responsible for providing high-quality document production services to all fee earners, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and in full compliance with Clifford Chance House style and client requirements.Who you will work with You will collaborate with Workflow Lead and Coordinators across our offices in Delhi, Hyderabad, Newcastle and London.What you will be responsible forThe DPS reports to a Manager of the Document Production Unit and is expected to create a positive working relationship with team members in their group.The duties of a DPS would cover the following:Document creation, conversions, formatting, revisions, clean up, repair and indexingPresentation creation, conversions, formatting and revisionsSpreadsheet creation, conversions, formatting, revisions, linking and archivingDocument tables and automation including TOAs, TOCs and cross referencingTemplate and form creationMerge and compare documentsMail merge and label creationData entry and editingClient briefingCreating, modifying and emailing filesQuality checking for accuracy and formatting and editing servicesWhat you will doThere are two high level categories, detailed below, which describe the core activities of the DPSrole:Document Production Services:Providing an accurate and high quality document production service to fee earners using Clifford Chance Housestyle once all training programme completedEnsuring all work and projects are completed as per instructions from the client and /or specificationsStaying within timelines and deadlines for the completion dates for projects. This requires good time management and organisational skillsExcellent typing speedsAbility to quality check documents to ensure clients' quality expectations are met within stipulated turnaround timesFollow workflow processes as per the Standard Operating ProceduresNotifying the Team Lead immediately when the deadline is likely to be missedMeet quality benchmarksCarry out work smoothly and efficientlyContinue to develop speed,



accuracy and proof-reading skills and responsible for downtime training objectivesMaintain confidentiality of all client informationWorking collaboratively with team members to ensure the provision of first-class support services to fee earnersKey Personal AttributesA key attribute of a DPS' success will be dependent on the positive and collaborative working relationships which they build with colleagues, the Team Leads and the UK DP teamFlexible in approach to increase of volume outside of shift hoursCan demonstrate using own initiative / judgementEffective time management skillsProfessional approach to problem solvingGood decision making abilitiesStrong communication skills are essential, the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writingKeen eye for detailAbility to adapt any process changes in minimal time periodAble to deal with the pressures of high volumesFlexible and Service orientatedExperience of working within a team and collaborating across team members, whilst demonstrating silo workingQualificationsYour experience2+ years of experience in MS Word profileMinimum copy typing speed of 40 wpmFluent in written and oral communication in English at all levels internally and externallyIntermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Suite, e.g. Word, PowerPoint and ExcelIntermediate to beginner experience with Adobe Acrobat / Adobe SuiteExperience of meeting deadline, prioritising a busy workload and working under pressurePrevious experience within a legal environment and/or a customer service role would be an advantageSolid experience within a qualified corporate services environmentHow we will support youFrom your first day with us, you will have varied opportunities to continuously grow and development your skills and knowledge.
