Role Overview:

The Senior Manager will oversee, guide, and provide essential administrative support to the Principal's Office team. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day government staff-related matters—including payroll, employee files, leave, audits, and school-related administration—as well as scholarship proposals, reimbursements, and full-and-final (FnF) settlements for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance & Accounts Management

- Ensure timely submission of crucial compliance documentation, including pay bills, annual increments, arrears, provident fund records, salary recoveries, and supplementary pay bills.
- Maintain and manage accounts for Grant-in-Aid (GIA) schools, including assessing non-salary grants.
- Oversee the daily maintenance and regular verification/signing of the cash book to ensure full accountability.
- Coordinate closely with internal accounts teams and respond promptly to notes and queries from government accounts departments.

2. Compliance & Government Liaison

- Ensure strict compliance with all rules, regulations, code books, and orders issued by the government and executive management.
- Manage and comply with all regulatory reporting, government orders, and registration renewals for the institution's schools, Healthcare, and Skill Development centers.
- Provide timely information, assessments, and reports to relevant government departments as required.
- Prepare thorough documentation for government audits and respond efficiently to audit-related queries.




- Maintain staff service books, confidential reports, and enforce staff regulations (including leave sanctioning and movement registers).
- Oversee staff educational upgrades, skill enhancements, and Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) training.

3. Student & Institutional Administration

- Oversee student admissions processes and maintain accurate student information records.
- Manage institutional portals and documentation required for student scholarships and related financial aid.
- Collaborate with internal Managers to streamline day-to-day administrative duties across school sections.

Required Qualifications & Experiences

- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Education (B.Ed) is preferred.

- Experience: 10–12 years of proven experience in administrative and accounts work, with a solid grasp of school functions and government rules/regulations.

- Leadership: Demonstrated capability to manage, lead, and develop administrative staff and support teams.

- Skills: * Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, including school code book provisions and government procedural requirements.

- Strong organizational, planning, and resource-allocation skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with staff, executives, and government liaisons.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
