Job Description: SAP Business Analyst (MM Module) – SAP Testing

Experience: 4–5 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP Business Analyst – MM Module with solid expertise in SAP Testing and Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP MM processes, business analysis, test planning, test execution, and defect management across SAP implementation/support projects.

The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, understanding of procurement and inventory processes, and experience working closely with business users, functional consultants, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

SAP MM Functional Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand business requirements related to:
- Procurement
- Inventory Management
- Material Master
- Purchase Orders
- Goods Receipt / Invoice Verification
- Vendor Management

- Prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and business process documentation.
- Support SAP MM configuration validation and business process testing.
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams for issue resolution.

SAP Testing Responsibilities

- Develop and execute:
- Test Scenarios
- Test Cases
- Test Scripts
- Regression Test Suites

- Perform:

- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing

- Validate end-to-end SAP MM business processes.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like:

- JIRA
- HP ALM
- Azure DevOps

- Collaborate with stakeholders during SIT/UAT cycles.
- Prepare test reports and testing metrics.





Business Analysis Responsibilities

- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs and solution discussions.
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of SAP MM module
- Experience in:
- Procurement lifecycle
- Inventory processes
- Material management workflows

- Hands-on experience in SAP testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with:

- SD
- FI
- WM/EWM (preferred)

- Experience with defect management/testing tools.

Testing Skills

- Test Planning & Execution
- Defect Lifecycle Management
- Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Functional & Regression Testing
- UAT Coordination

Soft Skills

- Solid communication and stakeholder management.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Good documentation and reporting abilities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in:
- SAP MM
- SAP Testing
- Business Analysis

- Experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end SAP implementation/support projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP MM Certification preferred.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of automation testing in SAP environments is an added advantage.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications.
- Basic understanding of SQL/data validation.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as:
- Tricentis Tosca
