We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are currently hiring for the position of Safety Officer located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals with solid knowledge of industrial safety practices and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities


- Implement and monitor factory safety policies and procedures.

- Conduct workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.

- Organize fire safety drills and emergency preparedness programs.

- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near -miss events.

- Deliver safety awareness training to employees and contractors.

- Maintain statutory records, safety reports, and compliance documentation.

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards.

- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for identified risks.


Required Skills

1. Factory Safety Management – Implementing industrial safety systems.

2. Fire Safety Knowledge – Managing fire prevention and emergency response.

3.



Hazard Identification – Recognizing and mitigating workplace risks.

4. Incident Investigation – Root cause analysis and reporting.

5. MS Office & Documentation – Preparing reports and compliance records.

Work Experience Requirements


Candidates should possess 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. Experience in safety compliance, employee training, and risk management is preferred. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail -oriented, and capable of working independently.

Education

- Minimum: Diploma / B.E. in Safety, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field

- Preferred: PG Diploma in Industrial Safety

- Additional: NEBOSH / IOSH Certification preferred
