We are looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Playwright, strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on knowledge of WebDriverIO and RestAssured. This role combines technical leadership, architecture, hands-on automation, mentoring, and the adoption of AI-driven testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, reusable automation frameworks for web and API testing using Playwright, WebDriverIO, and RestAssured.

Define automation architecture, best practices, coding standards, and governance.

Drive automation strategy across Agile/DevOps teams and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

-

Evaluate emerging tools, conduct POCs, and recommend framework improvements.

-

Explore and implement AI-assisted testing capabilities such as intelligent test generation and self-healing automation.

Mentor QA engineers and SDETs through code reviews, training, and knowledge sharing.

-

Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to improve software quality.

-

Provide hands-on automation and manual testing support when required.

Required Qualifications

-

Location: Hyderabad (mandatory)

15+ years of overall software testing experience.

-





10+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.

-

5+ years in a Test Automation Architect or similar role.

-

Expert in Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.

-

Strong experience with WebDriverIO, RestAssured, and API automation.

-

Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

-

Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with BDD/TDD, automation design patterns, and software quality principles.

Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and modern testing practices.

Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mobile automation.

Knowledge of Docker, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and performance testing.

Experience with test data management or open-source contributions.

Relevant QA or automation certifications.
