- Test Strategy and Planning:

- Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for MDM implementations, considering both functional and non-functional requirements.

- Lead the creation of test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business requirements and technical specifications.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment on test objectives.

- Manual and Automation Testing:

- Execute manual test cases to validate MDM solutions, including data validation, business rule verification, and UI testing.

- Design and implement automated test scripts using relevant tools to increase test efficiency and coverage.

- Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.

- Validated System Testing:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by conducting validated system testing for MDM solutions.

- Develop and maintain validation documentation, including validation plans, traceability matrices, and validation reports.

- Work closely with validation teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

- Data Quality and Integrity Testing:

- Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across MDM systems.

- Perform end-to-end testing to ensure that data flows correctly between source systems, MDM, and downstream systems.

- Identify data quality issues and work with data governance teams to resolve them.

- Leadership and Coordination:

- Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance on test techniques, tools, and best practices.

- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams to manage test activities, timelines, and deliverables.

- Report test progress, defects,



and risks to project stakeholders and participate in defect triage meetings.

- Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies for MDM projects.

- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies related to MDM and testing.

- Contribute to the development of reusable test assets and frameworks.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

- Technical Skills:

- Strong experience in testing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, or similar platforms.

- Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, UFT, or similar.

- Experience with SQL and database testing, including writing complex queries for data validation.

- Knowledge of validated system testing, including experience with GxP, FDA, or other regulatory compliance requirements.

- Experience:

- 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on MDM and data-centric applications.

- Proven experience in both manual and automated testing approaches.

- Experience in working within Agile/Scrum teams and familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing (CI/CT) practices.

- Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team in a collaborative environment.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or MDM platforms is a plus.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration testing.

- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
