- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.
- Identify and address signs of emotional distress, behavioral issues, or mental health concerns through proactive assessment and intervention.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Guidance and Counselling, or a related field.
- Professional certification or registration in counselling (e.g., from the Rehabilitation Council of India or equivalent).
- 2–5 years of experience in school counselling, youth mental health,
or educational support services.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, trauma -informed care, and ethical counselling practices.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast -paced educational setting.
