We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Factory Manager - Production in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities


- Lead and oversee daily production operations to achieve output targets.

- Develop production schedules and optimize resource utilization.

- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are met.

- Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.

- Supervise and mentor production supervisors and shop -floor teams.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain departments.

- Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions.


Required Skills

1. Production Planning – Managing schedules, capacity, and output targets.

2. Manufacturing Operations – Driving efficient factory performance.

Team Leadership – Supervising production teams and shift operations.

4. Quality Control – Maintaining product and process quality standards.

5. Process Improvement – Identifying and implementing productivity enhancements.

- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge

Work Experience Requirements


Experience in manufacturing and production operations is typically required for this role. Candidates should have a strong background in factory management, workforce supervision, and production planning. Typical experience range for a Factory Manager role is 8–15 years in a manufacturing setting.

Education

- Minimum: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field (Typical)

- Preferred: MBA Operations / Production Management

- Additional: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Industrial Safety Certifications
