Job Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end planning and execution of befree's events calendar â virtual, hybrid, and in-person
- Conceptualise and design event formats, themes, and agendas aligned to business objectives
- Manage logistics: venue, vendors, A/V, catering, run-of-show, and on-the-day coordination
- Build and manage panelist, speaker, and sponsor relationships
- Develop event collateral in collaboration with design â invitations, programmes, signage, decks
- Drive event registrations and attendance through email, social, and partner outreach
- Coordinate pre-event communications, reminders, and post-event follow-up sequences
- Own post-event reporting: attendance, engagement, pipeline generated, and qualitative feedback
- Manage event budgets and ensure delivery within agreed cost parameters
- Identify and evaluate third-party events (conferences, expos) for befree's participation or sponsorship
Experience/ Educational Qualification:
- 4â5 years of event management experience,
with a mix of corporate and owned-IP events
- Demonstrated ability to plan and host events from concept to close, not just execute someone else's brief
- Robust project management skills â you can hold multiple timelines simultaneously without dropping anything
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills (speakers, sponsors, vendors, attendees)
- Sharp written communication for invites, moderator guides, and post-event comms
- Comfortable with virtual event platforms (Zoom Webinar, Hopin, Airmeet, or equivalent)
- Keen eye for detail and brand consistency in event materials
Technical Skills:
- Experience running events for professional services, fintech, or B2B SaaS audiences
- Prior exposure to events targeting US, UK, or Australian markets
- Experience with event tech (registration platforms, CRM integration, attendee apps)
