Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for the provision of accounting services at the corporate headquarter. He supports the maintenance and close-out of the general ledger, fixed assets, receivables, payables and payroll accounting activities at a corporate level. He also supports the preparation and collection of invoices for Lebanon-based clients. He also tracks the collection and doubtful billing backlog for all K&A; Geographies. The jobholder also processes pay slips for the K&A; headquarter, consolidates payroll accounting at a corporate level and manages petty cash accounting, disbursement and replenishment at the K&A; headquarter. He also assists in the process of defining and detailing the corporate overhead allocation process, tax accounting and disbursement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and vendor payments.
- Assist in Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.
- Assist in tax audits and statutory audits.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Masters in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 3–7 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and SAP.
- Experience in account reconciliations, auditing, and statutory compliance.
- Robust analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
