SDE 2 Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance applications that power Aerem's digital platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise across frontend and backend technologies, demonstrate ownership of complex engineering problems, and be passionate about building robust, production-grade systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions while embracing modern AI-assisted development workflows.Candidates from Tier-1 engineering colleges are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance full stack applications.




- Architect and implement complex backend services, APIs, and frontend modules with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
- Lead the development of critical product features from design to production deployment.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and database efficiency.
- Design scalable data models and improve application architecture.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
- Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis for system improvements.
- Leverage AI-assisted and agentic AI development workflows to improve engineering productivity and code quality.

Required Skills

- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.
- Robust proficiency in:
- Node.js
- TypeScript
- React.js with Next.js
- MongoDB
- PostgreSQL

- Strong understanding of SQL, database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Solid experience designing RESTful APIs and backend architectures.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, caching, and scalable web architecture.




- Experience building production-grade applications with high availability and performance requirements.
- Proficiency with Git, version control, and collaborative software development workflows.
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
- Ability to independently own features and deliver them end-to-end in a fast-paced product environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Candidates from Tier-1 engineering colleges preferred.
- Experience designing scalable software architectures and leading technical initiatives.
- Experience using AI coding assistants, agentic AI workflows, or AI-native development tools in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering production outcomes using agentic AI systems/tools will be strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability tools.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of React Native mobile app development is a plus.
- Experience working in startups or high-growth engineering teams is highly preferred.
