About the Role

Hummingbird Web Solutions is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate should have 13 years of hands-on experience in video editing and be able to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for educational, promotional, and social media platforms.

Experience: 1- 3 Years Employment

Type: Contract 6 Months

Location: Remote OR On-site (Pune)

Compensation: 35,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

- Edit educational, promotional, marketing, and social media videos.
- Create engaging edits with transitions, captions, graphics, music, and sound effects.
- Perform basic colour correction, audio cleanup, and sound balancing.
- Ensure videos have strong pacing, storytelling, and visual consistency.
- Work with the design and marketing teams to understand content requirements.
- Manage multiple video editing tasks and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and formats for social media.




- Use AI-powered video editing tools to improve efficiency and workflow.

Requirements

- 13 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.
- Good understanding of pacing, composition, storytelling, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to independently handle video editing projects from raw footage to final output.
- Good understanding of social media video formats and content requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work is required.
- Valuable english communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with AI video editing tools such as Descript, Runway, CapCut AI, or similar tools.
- Experience creating short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
