Job Title: Specialist Software Engineering (Java Spring Boot AWS)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialist – Software Engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience in Java application development. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS, with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications in cloud environments.

Job Description

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and implement Microservices-based architectures following industry best practices.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
- Leverage AWS cloud services to build, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture design sessions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.





Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop backend services using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Design and implement REST APIs with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Work with relational databases and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
- Integrate applications with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, or similar.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation and cloud deployments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application quality.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
