Role Summary & Key Responsibilities

- Meeting with the product team to determine product testing parameters for manual testing.
- Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product.
- Use manual or automation platforms to create, maintain, track and execute test cases; as well as use Defect Tracking tools.
- Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
- Implement continuous performance testing to regularly make recommendations for performance improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, DevOps, Product team, Support and Customer Success.
- Analyze and identify the issues found during testing, either work with the Development teams and/or the Product management teams to diagnose them.
- Understand the business aspects, as well as the ways the customers are using the system; and check if the system is performing as it should have been
- Identify the risks and appropriate test coverage to validate new features as well as regression, and develop test plans and cases.

Eligibility Criteria:

Experience & Skills Required

- Minimum 2-5 years of QA experience (manual/automation) including writing and executing test plans




- Experience working in an agile (scrum) software development team.
- In-depth knowledge of QA concepts, test frameworks, (having knowledge for automation tools is appreciable).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, fanatical attention to detail, and curiosity.
- Come up with systems and processes to increase efficiency and identify the area of testing that can be automated.
- Passion for process automation and software quality.
- Knowledge of tools like Jira, release planning
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Team player, Independent, out-of-the-box thinker, and self-learner.
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment which can be changed frequently
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English
- Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Degree in a Science or Engineering related discipline.
- Passion for learning and mentoring.
- Valuable problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box
