Manager / Senior Manager- Service Engineer(Material Handling Equipment)

Role & responsibilities :

- Carry out installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance (PM), and breakdown service of electric material handling equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and service manuals.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and recommend permanent corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot controllers, AC/DC motors, BMS, lithium-ion batteries, chargers, sensors, wiring harnesses, CAN communication, and safety systems.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical manuals.
- Prepare detailed service reports with fault findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with customers to minimize equipment downtime and ensure high machine availability.
- Handle critical customer escalations independently and provide effective technical solutions.
- Promote and sell after-sales spare parts, preventive maintenance contracts (AMC), repairs, and service solutions.
- Support warranty claim investigations with technical evidence,



photographs, and root cause reports.
- Ensure proper spare parts identification using parts catalogues and EPC software.
- Convince customers to place spare parts and service orders through effective technical and commercial discussions.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Operations, and Spare Parts to ensure timely customer support and service closure.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, maintenance history, and customer service records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company SOPs, and quality requirements during all service activities.
