Project Engineer

Key responsibilities of a Project Engineer:

- Knowledge of various type of presses i.e. Hydraulic, mechanical etc.
- Knowledge of press operations i.e. forming, blanking, drawing, piercing, coining etc.
- Determines project schedule by studying job manufacturing process and calculating time requirements based on the work load and standard time period required for manufacturing of a job. Submission of multiple project schedules to client on regular intervals.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems. Raise alarm whenever required to avoid delays in project schedule.
- Understanding of Project deadlines importance and cost.
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Effective communication with all internal staff as well as with customers.
- To keep valuable records which can be useful while execution of other projects also.




- To keep follow up with client for design approval, payment realizations due at various intervals of project execution.
- Resolution of all open issues during execution of a projects internally as well as with client.
- Coordinating the visit of customer for Inspection & resolving issues reported by client during inspection.
- Monitoring developments at clients end & devising strategy for the project under execution to avoid any hold up after readiness of job.
- Procurement of imported items required in a press for its assembly.
- Shipping arrangements coordination with logistics team as well as client.
- Preparing RFQ (Request for quotation) sending enquiries to various service providers and get the order finalized through purchase department.

Qualifications

- B. Tech or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 7-12 years
