Role & responsibilities

1 Skills and Competencies

- Strong technical knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards (Ind AS/AS), and audit tools.
- Good understanding of manufacturing industry operations, inventory systems, and costing and able to conduct Internal Financial Control Review.
- Ability to identify and mitigate audit risks unique to the manufacturing or NBFC (BFSI) sector.
- Proficient in preparing and reviewing financial .and audit reports.
- Strong communication and client handling skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and ERP systems used by manufacturing clients is a plus.

2 Client Interaction & Reporting

- Communicating findings and audit observations to client management and partners.
- Drafting audit reports, management letters, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Coordinating with client finance teams and external consultants.

3 Team Coordination and Knowledge Sharing

- Supervising junior audit staff on manufacturing audit assignments.




- Training team members on industry-specific audit risks and compliance requirements.
- Keeping updated on accounting and auditing standards relevant to manufacturing or NBFC.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualified CA with 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing or NBFC (BFSI) industry is mandatory.
- Robust knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, statutory audit, internal controls, taxation, and financial analysis.
- Experience in handling month-end/year-end closing, compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Candidates with experience in process improvement and automation will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be an advantage.
