Job Summary

MVS ACMEI Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated PLC Automation Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, industrial communication protocols, and control panel troubleshooting. The role involves working on automation projects across manufacturing and process industries while ensuring high-quality and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and program PLC-based automation systems.
- Develop HMI and SCADA applications for machine and process control.
- Perform PLC programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Configure and commission VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and field instruments.
- Integrate PLCs with SCADA, HMIs, and third-party industrial devices.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation-related issues.
- Prepare electrical schematics, I/O lists, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project quality requirements.




- Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and customers throughout project execution.
- Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, and service support as required.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar).
- Experience with HMI and SCADA software such as WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Ignition, or similar.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and CAN.
- Familiarity with VFDs, servo systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control panel layouts.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Willingness to travel for project commissioning and service activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, commissioning, and control systems.
- Freshers with strong automation project knowledge may also be considered.
