- Notice:- Immediate Joiner upto 30 days
- Should not have any accepted offer on hand
- Should be willing to sign an agreement to pay 2x monthly salary in the event of offer-drop. The company will compensate 4x monthly salary, if we are unable to honor our offer.

Role Overview

The role is responsible for PC-based automation software development, testing, deployment, and support, providing assistance during machine qualification activities including FAT and SAT, and implementing standardization along with best development best practices within the team.

Job Requirements

Education

- B.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. Computer Science, BCA, MCA, B.E, B Tech any stream

Experience

- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software development, testing, and deployment
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET development, including design and implementation of Windows Forms (WinForms) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications for machine control interfaces and data visualization

Delivery & Execution

Must Have

- Development: Application development, API development using C# .NET and UI using Win Forms/ WPF




- Maintenance & Stability: Implement robust error and exception handling mechanisms across all applications to ensure system stability and graceful failure recovery.
- Database Management: Solid experience with SQL for designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases to store and manage machine operational data and application settings.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Deep understanding and practical application of OOP principles (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction) for writing clean, modular, and maintainable code.
- Concurrency & Performance: Experience working with Threads and multitasking concepts to develop efficient and responsive machine control applications, managing concurrent operations safely.
- Testing & Validation: Commitment to software quality, including developing and executing Unit Tests (e.g., using frameworks like NUnit or MSTest) to ensure code reliability and validate business logic.
- Source Control & Versioning: Mandatory proficiency with GitHub for source code management, including branching, merging, pull requests, and ensuring robust versioning of all machine application software.

Good To Have

- Industrial Automation: Design, develop, and integrate software solutions for machine tools, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes and data acquisition.
- Machine Application Review: Conduct thorough reviews and refactoring of existing machine control applications to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Communication Protocols:



Practical experience implementing and debugging standard industrial communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, or similar protocols used for communication between the C# application, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and other machine hardware.
- Hardware Interface (DAQ): Experience interfacing C# applications with Data Acquisition (DAQ) Cards (e.g., National Instruments (NI), Advantech, Adlink) for real-time data logging, sensor monitoring, and machine input/output (I/O) control.
- Motion Control & Vision: Proven ability to integrate and program machine control features, including Motion Axis control (servo/stepper systems) and implementing or interfacing with Vision Systems for inspection, guidance, or quality checks.
- Troubleshooting: Proven ability to perform complex troubleshooting and debugging of C# applications running on the plant floor, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to machine-to-software interfaces and hardware communication.

Complete all project activities in alignment with defined project milestones and performance measures, ensuring on-time completion of FAT.
