Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with strong experience in High-Rise Building and Commercial Building Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, delay analysis, and reporting to ensure timely and efficient completion of construction activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules for High-Rise and Commercial Building Projects.
- Prepare project baseline schedules and update them regularly based on actual site progress.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and look-ahead schedules for construction activities.
- Monitor actual progress against planned progress and identify deviations, delays, and critical activities.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and project status reports.
- Track project milestones and key activities to ensure timely completion of project targets.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Billing Engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients regarding project planning and progress.
- Prepare manpower, material, equipment, and resource deployment plans based on project requirements.
- Monitor productivity and resource utilization against planned targets.
- Review construction drawings, BOQs, quantities,



and specifications to support project planning and scheduling.
- Collect actual progress, quantities, manpower, and resource data from site teams for schedule updates.
- Prepare and maintain planned vs. actual progress reports, and productivity statements.
- Monitor critical path activities and identify potential delays affecting project completion.
- Prepare delay analysis and maintain proper records of project hindrances and delays
- Coordinate planning for major activities including foundation, RCC structure, structural works, blockwork, plastering, flooring, faade, MEP coordination, finishing, and external development works.
- Coordinate with execution, billing, procurement, stores, QA/QC, safety, and MEP teams to ensure smooth project progress.
- Provide regular progress updates, dashboards, status reports, and site photographs to management and clients.

Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of Planning, Scheduling, Project Monitoring, Progress Tracking, and Reporting for High-Rise and Commercial Building Projects.
- MS Excel
- MS Project
- AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of DPR, WPR, MPR, Look-Ahead Planning, S-Curve, Progress Monitoring, Planned vs. Actual Progress, and Delay Analysis.
- Good understanding of high-rise and commercial building construction sequences.
- Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
