Job Title- Senior IT Manager

Job Summary
The Senior IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and technology operations. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of IT services while leading strategic technology initiatives that support business growth. The Senior IT Manager manages IT teams, vendors, budgets, and projects while driving continuous improvement across all technology functions.
Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Identify emerging technologies that can improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the administration of servers, networks, cloud environments, storage systems, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT infrastructure.
- Manage system upgrades, software deployments, and hardware lifecycle.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity strategies, controls, and best practices.
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident response.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security policies.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and vulnerability management.
IT Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations and end-user support.
- Manage service desk performance and maintain agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor system health and proactively resolve technical issues.
Project Management
- Lead IT transformation and digitalization projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional technology implementations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost optimization.
Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular backup verification and recovery testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree (MBA/M.Tech) preferred.
- 8-12+ years of progressive IT experience.
- Minimum 35 years in an IT leadership or management role.
