About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Chartered Accountant to lead Financial Controllership, Financial Reporting, and FP&A; activities. The ideal candidate should have robust experience working with multinational organizations, driving financial governance, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and business partnering while ensuring high standards of financial accuracy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controllership

- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process.
- Ensure timely preparation and review of financial statements.
- Drive financial governance, internal controls and accounting compliance.
- Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and ensure closure of outstanding items.
- Lead controllership activities across multiple business entities.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare MIS reports, management reports and business dashboards.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate statutory, internal and external audits.
- Support senior management with strategic financial analysis.

FP&A;

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts.




- Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare business performance reports and profitability analysis.
- Partner with business leaders to improve financial performance.
- Support strategic planning and decision making.

Process Improvement

- Identify automation opportunities within finance processes.
- Develop and standardize SOPs across finance operations.
- Improve reporting accuracy and turnaround timelines.
- Drive continuous process improvements using technology.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with Business Heads, Commercial Teams, Auditors and Shared Services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives.
- Present financial insights to senior leadership.

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory

- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 812 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in Financial Controllership / FP&A; / Financial Reporting
- Strong experience in month-end close and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Experience handling audits
- Knowledge of internal controls
