Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager- Network Engineer to support field issue troubleshooting, WI-FI and broadband devices diagnostics, basic log/packet analysis, scripting, documentation and validation activities. The candidate to have a foundational understanding of networking concepts, scripting (preferably in Python), and basic knowledge of 4G/5G mobility. Familiarity with Linux environments, Wi-Fi technologies, and diagnostic tools like Wireshark is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting network performance using tools like Wireshark and other diagnostic utilities.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of network devices (eg: access points).
- Write and maintain basic Python scripts to automate routine network tasks and data analysis.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to support 4G/5G mobility and Wi-Fi testing and validation.
- Perform Wi-Fi troubleshooting, including signal strength analysis, interference detection, and connectivity issue resolution.
- Work within Linux environments for scripting, log analysis, and network diagnostics.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.




- Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of network issues.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and standards.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Wireshark and network packet analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation or data parsing.
- Exposure to Linux environments and basic shell scripting.
- Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 standards, SSIDs, authentication, roaming).
- Ability to perform Wi-Fi troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Exposure to 4G/5G mobility concepts (e.g., handovers, mobility management, signaling).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Positive communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Internship or project experience in a networking or telecom environment.
- Certifications such as CCNA or vendor-specific credentials.
- Familiarity with network security principles.
