Role & responsibilities
- Moving materials: Using forklifts, pallets, and crates to move materials around a warehouse, or factory.
- Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading materials onto and off of trailers and other vehicles
- Maintaining: Performing regular maintenance on forklifts and other tools to ensure safety
- Documenting: Completing forms, handling documentation, and maintaining accurate production records
- Maintaining a clean work area: Keeping the dock and warehouse surroundings clean and tidy
