We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Manager with over 10 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in Hyperscale Data Center projects. The ideal candidate should have a robust consulting engineering background and extensive experience in designing mission-critical cooling systems for large-scale data centers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead HVAC design for hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects.
- Develop mechanical system concepts from feasibility through detailed design.
- Design and review:
- Chilled Water Systems
- Direct Expansion (DX) Systems
- CRAH/CRAC Units
- Air- and Water-Cooled Chiller Plants
- Cooling Towers
- HVAC Controls and BMS Integration

- Perform cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, airflow analysis, and energy optimization.
- Coordinate with electrical, structural, architectural, and fire protection disciplines.
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and local/international codes.
- Manage client meetings, technical reviews, and design presentations.
- Mentor and guide mechanical engineering teams.
- Support design validation,



commissioning, and technical issue resolution during construction.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of Mechanical/HVAC design experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on Hyperscale Data Center projects.
- Strong consulting engineering background with MEP design firms.
- Expertise in mission-critical cooling infrastructure.
- Knowledge of:
- ASHRAE Thermal Guidelines
- Uptime Institute principles
- Energy-efficient HVAC solutions
- CFD and airflow analysis

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and HVAC load calculation software (HAP, IES VE, or similar).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience delivering projects for hyperscale cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, or Oracle.
- Exposure to international projects (US, Europe, Middle East, or APAC).
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary design teams.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and clash detection.
