Position: Lead Manager Non Pressure Parts

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

Experience: Minimum 10 years in Boilers

Main Thrust: Effective leadership and management of non pressure part design area, resources, process compliance, resource allocation to manage project non pressure part work, Forecast and mitigate risks, Training and Skill development of the team, Oversee project work schedule and deliverables to meet project commitments, Ensure high quality of work output, Estimate man hours in proposal and manage during execution to control budget, Design Review and checking related to non pressure part design work. Lessons learnt training, handling shop, site feedback.

Key Functions & Tasks:

- Responsible for Engineering and Design deliverable in Non Pressure Part design area.
- Understanding project scope, technical requirements of customer
- Estimating man hours, prepare manning plans, check resource capacity in Non pressure part area
- Review Engineering and Design deliverable list, work plan applicable to the Non pressure part scope
- Review Engineering and Design deliverables for Non pressure parts
- Resource planning for project Non pressure design work scope and allocation during execution,
- Monitor availability of all necessary design inputs through coordination and follow-ups
- Monitor Time schedule for Non pressure part design area deliverables
- Monitor & follow-up on Non pressure part design work progress in coordination with mechanical discipline engineer/engineering manager
- Participate in weekly progress review meetings related to Non pressure parts
- Publishing weekly progress reports, Monthly work plan updates for progress, mitigating delays
- Material quantity updates,



controlling within budgeted quantities, forecast overrun if any
- Attending Customer / Consultant /Notified body queries regarding Non pressure part design areas
- Attend Design reviews, maintain review records, follow-up actions
- Ensuring all workflow process compliances, Maintaining ISO objective performance analysis.
- Handling customer feedback, lessons learnt on project Non pressure part area,
- Technical support to procurement, fabrication and construction in Non pressure part area
- Technical support for Quality control workshop and site in Non pressure part area.
- Disposal of shop and site feedback in Non pressure part area.
- Support EM/MDE in Handling NCR, Supplier change requests

Other Requirements

- Hands on working Experience in boiler Non pressure part design work & strength , welding calculations
- Knowledge about Non pressure part fabrication, erection, welding requirements
- Clear understanding of welding design as per AWS , EN ISO standards
- Non Pressure part material selections, temperature limits, applications,
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- 3D Model review tools (Cadmatic/E3D/Navisworks, Trible Connect, TEKLA, AutoCAD)
- Hands on experience in TEKLA software - desirable
- Ability to manage team of about 10 persons and experience in managing such team size.
