Summary
Design, support and improve workflow automation, runbook execution and service automation across Service Desk and Colleague Experience processes.

Core responsibilities

- Identify automation opportunities across Service Desk, CE, Tech Bar, request fulfilment and recurring incidents.
- Support workflow design for repeatable tasks, standard requests and resolver handoffs.
- Work with ServiceNow, AskIT, AI, runbook and automation tooling where in scope.
- Translate operational issues into automation candidates and improvement backlog items.
- Support automation of common fulfilment tasks where access, approval and controls are agreed.
- Work with L1, L2, L3 and SRE/resolver teams to ensure runbooks are usable by front-office teams.
- Support measurement of automation benefits, including demand reduction, FTF improvement and reduced manual effort.
- Maintain automation documentation, control evidence and operational handover material.

Skills / experience

- Workflow automation,



ServiceNow workflow / Flow Designer / App Engine or equivalent.
- Understanding of ITSM processes, request fulfilment and incident triage.
- Scripting or automation platform experience.
- Ability to translate operational processes into repeatable workflows.
- Awareness of security, change control and audit requirements.
- Dependencies
- Confirmed automation tooling, ServiceNow workflow access, AI/automation governance, approved use cases, runbook ownership, access permissions, RLG approval routes and change-control process.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree / Postgraduate or equivalent experience
