Delivery Manager (10+ years, including 4+ years in a delivery/account leadership role)

Xcelore is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to own end-to-end delivery across multiple client engagements. This role sits at the intersection of program delivery, people leadership, and account growth, responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality, while building strong client relationships and driving account expansion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital and AI product engineering delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and budgets are met across engagements.
- Act as a people manager lead, mentor, and develop project teams; manage performance, career growth, and resourcing for direct reports.
- Own client stakeholder management, serving as the primary point of contact for delivery-related conversations and building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Drive account farming and account management identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding scope of work.
- Establish and run project governance frameworks, including status reporting, risk and issue management, escalation handling, and steering committee reviews.
- Own project PL manage budgets, forecasting, margins, and profitability across the portfolio of projects under management.




- Bring hands-on experience delivering digital transformation and AI-driven product engineering projects, guiding teams through up-to-date engineering and delivery practices.

Required Skills Experience

- Proven track record managing multiple simultaneous project deliveries in a technology services or product engineering environment.
- Strong people management experience, with demonstrated ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing teams.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build senior-level relationships.
- Experience in account management/farming, with a commercial mindset toward growing client accounts.
- Strong grasp of project governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience owning project or account-level PL, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management.
- Hands-on exposure to digital and AI product engineering projects (e.g., cloud, data, GenAI/ML, product development).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
