Role & responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage cognitive, emotional, and social development.

- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning setting.

• Utilize play-based learning techniques to make education fun and effective.

• Monitor and document the progress of children, ensuring individualized attention and support.

- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their childs development.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Preferred candidate profile

- 23 years of proven experience as a Pre-Primary Teacher.
- Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Passion for working with young children and a creative approach to teaching.

INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE Basil Woods’ is an early learning initiative of National Institute of Value Education (NIVE) to inculcate universal values and ethics along with imparting physical/cognitive learning in the formative years of early childhood development. Basil Woods currently runs four - K12 schools and ten preschools across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bhubaneshwar in India.
